A great meeting at Maylandsea last weekend when racing went uninterrupted all day apart from the scheduled breaks.
The track was in a green and pristine condition after the winters rest. Luke had attracted a grand entry of over a hundred solo's and nine outfits, all hotly contested.
Greg and his team had laid out a flowing course from the start right through to the finish allowing allcomers plenty of room. It stood up well to the dry conditions, being a little greasy during practise but spot on from then until the interval when no less than 14 races were completed.
Afraid I'm not in possession of results but did learn that our Chairman had successful day winning all three Pre60 events, Sam Heitman showed the Greeves boys the way home in their three while newcomer Roy Crisp stole the limelight in the Clubman.
Sorry I don't know of results from other classes but did spot the usual suspects well to the fore. Great to see Aaron Graves back in fine form after his nasty accident last year. A great day for every contestant who took part I'm sure.
Afraid I've no knowledge of any off's, please feel free to advise otherwise if that was not the case.
Many of us will be off to Sproxton this coming weekend being put on by the Northampton Club before returning to Maylandsea a week later.
See you all there. :) :)
