On Sunday 4th July, the Pre-65 Motocross Club will be holding a demonstration classic scramble at the Battlesbridge Classic Motorcycle Show and Autojumble in Essex. This will be the eighth year the club has supported the event, which has always been well supported and received by both club riders and visitors to the event.

Greeves Motorcycles Scrambles Championship organiser, Dave Harper, will again be running the demonstration, and there will be a healthy amount of Greeves motorcycles being ridden and on display, as the Greeves Riders Association are set to hold another stand to showcase some stunning examples of the former Thunderley based marque.

As in previous years, it won't just be Greeves scramblers taking part, there will be a whole host of, amongst others, BSA, DOT, Triumph and Metisse based machines taking part.

If you are a member of the Pre-65 Motocross Club and you have a classic scrambler that you wish to ride at the event, then give Dave Harper a call on 01268 727287 in the evening. Maybe ride the bike that you would usually leave at home in the shed? The course is flat and covers a smaller area than a usual scrambles circuit, but it's a good chance to spend a day riding around, trying to perfect that carburation setting you've been meaning to get round to doing for a while now.
